Scorpion Production Group Continues Longstanding Support for Burton Explorers Awards Night

Scorpion Production Group was once again proud to provide full event production for the annual Burton Explorers Awards Night, held last Friday at Branston Golf and Country Club. This much-anticipated evening celebrates the achievements of young people across the local Scouting community and marks another fantastic occasion in the ongoing relationship between Scorpion and the event organisers.

The awards night, which has taken place every year since its launch in 2017, recognises the efforts and milestones of Explorer Scouts from across Burton, including honours from the Scout Association’s Top Awards Scheme and the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme. This year, just under 200 awards were presented — a remarkable achievement and a testament to the dedication of the Explorers and their leaders.

A Complete Technical Solution

Scorpion Production Group was on hand to deliver a comprehensive technical package, helping to ensure that the night ran smoothly and left a lasting impression on attendees and guests.

The full production included:

• Intelligent lighting to bring atmosphere and focus to key moments of the evening
• A professionally installed sound system ensuring speeches, announcements and live elements were clear and engaging
• Staging to elevate presenters and award recipients, creating a focal point for the room
• A large LED video wall, which served as a backdrop throughout the event, displaying show branding, animated graphics, and a live camera feed to highlight winners as they received their awards

The result was a polished, professional event that not only celebrated achievements but gave a real sense of occasion for all those attending.
