Estimated CO₂ Emissions During Operation

To help our clients make more informed and sustainable choices, we provide estimated carbon emissions data for our equipment during typical use. These figures are based on the UK average carbon intensity of electricity, currently 0.233 kg CO₂ per kilowatt-hour (kWh).

This value reflects the average emissions produced when generating 1 kWh of electricity in the UK and is used to calculate the CO₂ emissions associated with each item's power consumption during operation.

For example:

  • An item using 1 kWh per hour would emit approximately 0.233 kg of CO₂ per hour.

  • Lower-wattage items (such as LED lights or network switches) may emit as little as a few grams per hour, while high-power devices like amplifier racks or smoke machines can emit hundreds of grams or more depending on usage.

These estimates are calculated for operational use only and do not include emissions from manufacturing, transport, or disposal. We encourage users to combine this information with other sustainability practices, such as efficient scheduling, smart power management, and carbon offsetting.

Example of Calculation

Small Light (60W):

  • 0.06 kWh × 0.233 kg CO₂/kWh = ~0.014 kg CO₂/hour

  • Approximately 14 grams of CO₂ per hour

Our Carbon Commitment

We believe in taking meaningful action to reduce our impact on the environment. That’s why we’ve committed to planting trees as a tangible step toward a greener future.

For a percentage of turnover, assessed monthly, we fund the planting of trees in partnership with TreeApp, our approved and trusted reforestation partner. TreeApp ensures that every tree planted contributes to verified and sustainable reforestation projects around the world. We are proud to display the live TreeApp counter across all our group websites, showcasing the positive difference we're making together.

For every project we deliver, we assess the estimated carbon output. If the number of trees planted as part of our standard commitment exceeds the carbon footprint of the equipment or services we supply, we will certify that project as carbon neutral.

Should you wish to take things a step further, we also offer the option to include a carbon offset supplement in your quote, ensuring that your event or production is fully carbon neutral from start to finish.

Together, we can deliver outstanding experiences—responsibly.
