Scorpion Event Solutions Returns to Ashby Pride with Full Production and Site Infrastructure

Scorpion Event Solutions is proud to have once again supported Ashby Pride, delivering a complete technical production and event infrastructure package for this vibrant and inclusive celebration in the heart of Ashby High Street.

Following the success of the inaugural main stage event, 2024 marked our second year working alongside the event organisers to bring Ashby Pride to life. As with last year, we provided staging, sound, lighting, and power — but this year saw an even more enhanced setup, supporting a bigger show and a growing audience.

Two Stages, One Mission: Celebration

The event featured two key performance areas: the main stage, centrally located on the high street, and a smaller community stage further up, ensuring that activity and entertainment were spread across the entire town centre.

The main stage was the showpiece of the day, built and equipped by the Scorpion team to deliver a truly professional experience. A full intelligent lighting setup was installed, comprising moving head lights, washes, spots and effects lighting — all programmed to create stunning visual moments that built atmosphere and energy throughout the event.

To ensure the sound reached every corner of the crowd — and then some — we flew our line array system using our brand new lift motors. Supporting this was the latest addition to our hire stock: four Electro-Voice X12-128 Dual 18″ high-output subwoofers, delivering deep, powerful bass with plenty of punch to travel up the high street. This combination guaranteed crystal-clear vocals, immersive music, and a sound experience that truly matched the celebratory tone of the day.

Scorpion Event Solutions doesn’t just provide the technical magic on stage — we’re also trusted to handle the vital event infrastructure behind the scenes. For Ashby Pride, this included:
