As we wrap up 2025, it’s time to reflect on a year that’s been nothing short of extraordinary. At Scorpion Production Group, we continue to set the standard for technical innovation, creative design, and seamless event delivery across the UK, from national commemorations to vibrant festivals and corporate showcases, our team has been behind some of the most memorable moments of the year.
This year, we were proud to support the National Memorial Arboretum for their VE Day commemorations, providing robust generator hire and advanced networking solutions to keep operations running smoothly. Our deployment of Ubiquiti systems ensured reliable connectivity for live streaming and event coordination because precision matters when honouring history.
We also partnered with East Staffordshire Borough Council for the Burton Remembrance Service, delivering crystal-clear audio using Martin Audio loudspeakers and Midas digital mixing consoles. These projects reflect our commitment to delivering respectful, high-quality production for community events.
Summer brought colour and energy with events like Wibbly Woods Festival, where we supplied extensive power and cabling to create an unforgettable atmosphere. At Moira Canal Festival, our technical delivery brought music and entertainment to life, blending heritage with modern production values. We also took full responsibility for the production of all technical and site infrastructure at Sonic Boom Festival, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
From the LTA Tennis Nottingham tournament to Repton School’s Theatre Arts productions, we ensured flawless AV setups and stage management. Our expertise in sound and lighting elevated performances and sporting events, creating experiences audiences will remember.
2025 was a standout year for corporate activations. We delivered striking exhibition stands for Craig and Derricott Ltd at the NEC and supported Wilo at Screwfix Live, delivering a series of impactful installations designed to showcase their innovative pump technologies. Our team combined structural ingenuity with dynamic lighting and precise technical execution to create an engaging environment for installers and trade professionals. The result? A stand that not only highlighted Wilo’s brand excellence but also delivered a memorable experience for every visitor.
Our collaboration with motorsport agency clients on LED screen builds for activation technology and arcade installations demonstrated our ability to execute large-scale, high-tech projects with precision and flair.
As the year drew to a close, we lit up towns and cities with festive cheer. From Burton upon Trent and Swadlincote Christmas Lights Switch-On to Nottingham Christmas Market supporting Lindley Productions, our team provided everything from festoon lighting to special effects, creating magical moments for communities across the Midlands.
Beyond the spotlight, our technical teams worked tirelessly on power distribution, cabling, and AV installations for venues multiple house’s of worship, community and music venues. These behind-the-scenes efforts are the backbone of our success.
2025 has been a year of growth, creativity, and collaboration. As we move into 2026, Scorpion Production Group remains committed to pushing boundaries in event production, AV technology, and design innovation. A huge thank you to our clients, partners, and incredible team for making this year exceptional.
