As sustainability continues to shape the future of the live events and production industry, Scorpion Production Group is proud to reflect on a successful and environmentally conscious 2025 — made possible through our valued collaboration with Wilo, a global leader in premium water solutions and environmental innovation.
Throughout 2025, Scorpion once again worked closely with Wilo to deliver a series of exhibitions and shows across the UK. Known for their commitment to sustainable technology and intelligent pumping systems, Wilo remains a forward-thinking client that shares our environmental values — making them the ideal partner for our growing eco-initiatives.
Last year, Scorpion Production Group strengthened our sustainability credentials by partnering with treeapp, a certified B Corp that plants trees around the world in support of carbon offsetting, biodiversity restoration, and community employment. What began as an internal initiative to offset the carbon footprint of our own operations quickly evolved into something much greater — a shared opportunity for our clients to contribute to meaningful environmental change.
This partnership enabled us to carbon offset jobs not only for our own company, but also for client projects where emissions may have otherwise gone unaccounted for. With treeapp, the impact is measurable, transparent and globally beneficial.
Over the course of 2025, Scorpion Production Group funded the planting of more than 700 trees through Treeapp. Our Wilo partnership accounted for over 100 of these trees. These trees, during their lifetime, are projected to offset over 10.9 tonnes of CO₂, support the reforestation of approximately 668m² of land, and provide more than 2 days of employment for local communities involved in the planting process.
Wilo’s exhibitions and events made up a substantial share of our offsetting efforts. It’s always rewarding to collaborate with a client who not only recognises the importance of environmental action, but actively supports it.
We believe that true sustainability goes far beyond token gestures. It’s about putting systems in place that deliver ongoing, traceable results. Through our work with Wilo and treeapp, we’re proud to be doing more than just talking about climate impact — we’re actively working to reduce and rebalance it.
While many companies may choose to include a tree icon or use vague wording to suggest environmental responsibility, our approach is based on action. That’s why we can confidently publish real figures, demonstrate real progress, and continue to hold ourselves to account as we grow.
As we look to 2026 and beyond, sustainability will remain a central part of Scorpion’s ethos. Whether it’s through our energy-efficient LED walls and lighting systems, the use of Stage V generators, or our offsetting efforts through tree planting, we’re committed to delivering events that are as environmentally responsible as they are visually impressive.
We believe that the events industry must play its part in supporting global climate goals — and we’re proud to be among the companies taking meaningful steps forward.
