Scorpion Production Group Delivers Full-Scale Production for Ashby Pride

Scorpion Production Group is proud to announce its successful involvement in Ashby Pride’s event, marking a significant milestone for both the town of Ashby and our team. This vibrant celebration took place in the heart of Ashby High Street, where we provided a comprehensive event production package, ensuring the event was a resounding success enjoyed by all attendees.

At the centre of Ashby Pride was a large stage, measuring 7.5 x 5 metres, positioned prominently in the middle of the high street. Scorpion Production Group was responsible for the complete setup, which included not only the stage itself but also the crucial power generation and distribution. This power was essential for both the stage performances and the hospitality tent, ensuring all aspects of the event ran smoothly and without interruption.

Our audio setup was designed to deliver an outstanding sound experience to the Pride-goers. We deployed an impressive 28,000 watts of speaker power, comprising a mix of flown line arrays and subwoofers. This combination provided crystal-clear sound and deep bass, ensuring that every performance was heard with perfect clarity, from the front row to the far reaches of the crowd. Most of this was hidden behind branded acoustic mesh panels which allow the stage to be fully on brand without impeding the sound.

In addition to the sound system, Scorpion Production Group also supplied intelligent stage lighting that transformed the stage into a dynamic visual spectacle. Our lighting design featured a mixture of moving heads, coloured flood lighting, and effects lighting, all carefully programmed to enhance the performances and create a full sensory experience for the audience.

Adding to the visual impact, we installed an LED wall on the stage. This screen was fed with a mix of static and moving graphics provided by the event organisers, adding another layer of engagement and excitement to the event. The LED wall served as both a backdrop for the performers and a visual centrepiece, displaying vibrant graphics that resonated with the Pride theme.
